Crochet Pom Clips

Crochet Pom Clips

How many ways are there to create a yarn pom? I can think of at least 7. I took the easy route with this adorable little crochet pom clip and used the smallest pom maker in my stash.

I think there’s a wild chance that creating a clip with more than one pom on it would make me giddy, but I’m on a quick project kick and making more than one for each clip would definitely extend my 5 minute craft rule I’ve placed on myself this week. If you haven’t been following along, I’ve made several crochet clips this week.

Crochet Pom Clip Instructions

Materials

  • Scraps of cotton yarn

Tools

  • Pom maker
  • Paper Clip

Instructions

  1. Using the smallest pom maker, create a thick pom and tie off leaving a long tail
  2. Wrap the tail around the paperclip to secure the pom to the clip

You can use embroidery floss, fingering weight yarn, cotton yarn, worsted weight yarn, even bulky yarn for these poms, just choose the appropriate size pom maker to ensure your pom is uniform and that you can actually cut through the yarn to create the pom.

After a time she heard a little pattering of feet in the distance, and she hastily dried her eyes to see what was coming. It was the White Rabbit returning, splendidly dressed, with a pair of white kid gloves.
