On my latest kick of quick crochet projects, I’ve made a lot of crochet clips – for use in my planners, as bookmarks, etc. A heart is pretty much a staple in the crochet world. So why not add a heart to a clip to create a little crochet heart clip?

Create a Heart using my crochet heart pattern
Place your heart face down on your work surface. Place your paper clip on top of the heart. Add hot glue to your felt scrap and place it over the paper clip and the heart to securely hold the heart onto the paperclip.
I used small, regular-sized paper clips but I’m thinking it would be really fun to get giant clips and create giant crochet heart clips as gifts for friends and stocking stuffers. You can create hearts out of embroidery floss, fingering weight yarn, cotton yarn, bulky yarn – even material strips. Adjust your hook size for each of these different yarn weights to create the size of heart that you desire.
No matter what size you make these, hearts are one of the quickest things to work up in crochet and this project won’t take you long to create and multiply.
